Privacy policy

This policy explains what Bazarmap (bazarmap.com) collects and why. Contact: [email protected].

What we store

• Account: nickname, password (only as a secure hash), optional e-mail, name shown to others, optional photo and "about you" text, language.
• Posts and comments you publish, with the point you set on the map. For personal types we store the exact point only for you and show others an approximate area.
• Messages you exchange with other users.
• Technical data: a session cookie to keep you logged in, a visitor cookie, your theme and language, and security logs (IP address in a shortened form for rate limits and abuse prevention). Your approximate city is estimated from your IP address with the DB-IP database on our own servers, to show posts near you; the IP address is not stored for this.
• Payments are processed by Whop (Premium, promotion, business) and by Polar (printable kits); we receive only the fact of payment, the amount and the product, never your card details.

Why

To run the service, show your posts to people nearby, deliver messages, prevent spam and abuse, and keep paid features active.

AI moderation

Every post, comment, profile text, photo and message is checked automatically by an AI model that runs on our own servers. Nothing is sent to third-party AI services.

Advertising

After your first tap, click or key press on a page, it may load ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads, which can be based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalised ads in Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or at www.aboutads.info. In the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland Google asks for your consent first. Premium members and our apps show no ads.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Public posts are visible to everyone and may appear on other sites of our network. If you ask for it (a checkbox on the post form or in your account), a public post is also published on Bazeta.com. Search engines may index public posts of non-personal types.

Retention and deletion

Posts expire automatically; photos of ended posts are deleted after 30 days. You can delete any post, or your whole account, at any time in "Account → Delete my account": your profile, posts, comments and messages are removed at once.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data and object to processing — write to [email protected]. If you live in the EU/EEA or the UK you may also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

The service is not for people under 16. The dating type is only for adults (18+).
